Location adjacent to Spain, and Pontevedra. Central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing table in the room, lovely and particularly good location. Helpful staff on reception and elsewhere.

The room was beautifully decorated and brand-new, and it had a separate bedroom with a view of the sea, plus the location was great.

The staff here were really friendly! 😊 the breakfast was top-notch too, with freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious espresso coffee. I only stayed for one day, but I'm already looking forward to coming back on my next trip.

The rooms at A Maquía are absolutely cozy and comfortable. I felt like I was in my own little haven, featuring everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The suite with a hydromassage bathtub and views of the Ria de Pontevedra was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. I loved how some rooms had a seating area, allowing me to sit back and relax while planning my next adventure. The twin/double room with a balcony and air conditioning was just what I needed to soak in the fresh air and enjoy the surrounding views. The fact that the rooms were exterior-facing added a wonderful touch, as I could wake up to the beauty of nature right outside my window. With room service available, I didn't have to worry about going out for meals. It made my stay even more convenient and enjoyable. The balcony in the suite, along with air conditioning and a stunning view, made it a true sanctuary to unwind and recharge. Having a TV and DVD player in the room was a nice bonus for some relaxing entertainment at the end of the day.
Personally, I found the small living room in the suite to be a bit cramped. But others may still enjoy the cozy atmosphere it offers.

The view from the room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the bay and providing a million dollar view. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had windows all around to enjoy the beautiful scenery, even from bed. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Additionally, the grounds were well-maintained and the hotel had a large swimming pool, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip.
One downside was that finding the entrance to the hotel at night was quite challenging. The hotel name was written in small lettering and lacked proper lighting, making it difficult to identify.

The property was well-appointed and immaculately clean. Rosie was the consummate host - she was kind, friendly, full of information and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable with a big bathroom and chairs to sit outside overlooking the beautiful pool and garden. It was also a quick walk to a secluded beach. The breakfast made by Marisa was exceptional and bountiful with all kinds of delicious foods in a buffet plus the ability to order eggs, bacon etc. and a carafe of fresh squeezed juice. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience of Galician hospitality!
Felt really like home, no complains at all.

We got incredible value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and had stunning views of the bay. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby sites and a few local places to eat within walking distance. The staff treated us like family, with Rosa being incredibly warm and welcoming.
The only thing I wish could have been better about the breakfast offerings was a wider variety of pastries.

A great location right down to the beach, perfect for walks and enjoying the beautiful views. The hotel offers spacious and spotless rooms with comfortable beds and linens. The breakfast served is diverse with plenty of fresh fruit and good coffee. The friendly staff provides excellent service and gives helpful recommendations for activities in the area.
While the suite was almost perfect, a safe in the room and a slightly larger bed would have added to the overall enjoyment of the stay.
